Today, the first part of the art contest “Talents of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” was opened in the exhibition hall of the university building №7. Almost 300 works from 67 students, teachers, university staff are presented in four categories: pictorial, graphic, decorative-applied art and embroidery.
“This year, about 40 students gave us their works. They bring mostly one or two, but teachers and staff bring more. We invite everyone to design and bring their works, because people have to see and evaluate them”, said the Head of the Art Gallery of the Center of the Culture and Arts of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Victoria Totkina. By the way, such exhibitions have been held at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for almost 20 years.
The art contest will last for 20-25 days. During this time, a jury consisting of professional artists from the Institute of Publishing and Printing, as well as ordinary fans of the art of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, will evaluate the works and chose three winners in four nominations. They will be given encouraging prizes.
