On November, 8 the representatives of the authorities of Igor Sikorsky KPI and its several departments met with a delegation of representatives of innovative structures from the United States and the People's Republic of China.

Among the guests at the meeting there were representatives of the Ideation Innovation Management Platform Vik Korsun and Douglas Graham (USA), CEO of Yau Lee Rosana Wong (PRC, Hong Kong), Yau Lee representative Toni Leung and Professor Wong. On behalf of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” there were Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Mykhailo Zgurovsky, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of NAS of Ukraine Mykhailo Ilchenko, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Serhiy Sydorenko, Director of the Institute of Applied Systems Analysis Pavlo Kasyanov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Systems Analysis in scientific work Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Natalia Pankratova, Director of the World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development Kostiantyn Yefremov, Chief Designer of KB "Storm" Serhiy Pukh, a member of the Supervisory Board of Igor Sikorsky KPI, Director of Politeko Science City LLC Bohdan Andriytsev and others.

The participants of the meeting discussed the creation of joint laboratories on the basis of the university, which will work in directions of interest for both sides. Space technologies for terrestrial monitoring, sustainable development projects, including in such a new direction as "smart mobility", and others, have become the point of contact here. So, for the guests, there were presentations of the program for the creation and launching of KPI nanosatellites into orbit; the project of creation of space grouping of microsatellites for remote sensing of the Earth; projects implemented at the World Data Center, including research in the field of scientific foresight - Foresight (a presentation of the new study "Foresight 2018: Systemic World Conflicts and Global Forecast for the XXI Century" was held here). In addition, the guests were provided with information on the structure and activities of the Sikorsky Challenge University Innovation Ecosystem and on the creation of Politeko Science City.

Finally, the participants of the meeting raised some issues regarding the organization of the work of joint laboratories and agreed to prepare concrete proposals for their creation, and also identified the persons who will be responsible for further communications.
