Igor Sikorsky KPI held the Sixteenth International Scientific and Practical Conference of postgraduates, graduate students, and students on April 24-27, 2018 under this title. The organizer was the Heat and Power Faculty with the support of the State Enterprise “National Atomic Energy Generating Company “Energoatom” and the public scientific and technical organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society”.
More than 300 works were submitted from the creative teams of students, postgraduates and young scientists from different countries to participate in the conference and approbate their research. The work of the conference was held in topic sections: nuclear power engineering; heat transfer and hydrodynamics in heat transfer devices and power plants; modern technologies in thermal power engineering; problems of theoretical and industrial heat engineering; automation of heat and energy processes; simulation and analysis of heat and power processes; software support for information systems and network systems; geometric modeling and visualization problems; modern problems of sustainable energy development.
