Productionists met with management of the university.after getting acquainted with the educational-scientific center HAAS, which works on the basis of the department of mechanical engineering of the Mechanical Engineering University, the laboratory base of its department of plasticity material mechanics and resource-saving processes, the laboratories of the Department of Applied Hydroaeromechanics and Mechanotronics, and the Boeing-Progrestech-Ukraine Specialists Training Center.

A presentation of the University Innovation Ecosystem Sikorsky Challenge, created on the basis of the Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic", was presented to the guests. The Director General of the Science Park Volodymyr Hnat spoke about a number of the most significant projects, including military projects, implemented in the ecosystem over the last few years. His report was complemented by the co-founder of the University Innovation Ecosystem, the head of the KPI Startup School, the director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the University, Inna Malyukova, who introduced the authors of two projects, which were not only implemented in Ukraine, but also brought to the markets of many countries.
"What I saw in you shows a tremendous amount of work. And I understand very well that the challenge facing us today is to integrate our capabilities into your project. Of course there is a great potential - from the training of our specialists to the participation of your students in the activities of the R & D park we create and the work on new projects etc.- said Anton Karpenko after the presentations. - And, most importantly, we now have to lock up the interaction between the industrial part and the training of specialists that you carry out. Without this, our country will simply not have a future. "
In further communication issues of cooperation between SJSHC "Artem" and National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and acceleration of shared projects implementation were discussed. By the way, just in the hall was fundamentally resolved the issue and a question of organization of student’s practice at the holding companies.
"Over the past few days, we have managed to overcome a great distance," said Mikhail Zgurovsky. - There is already a very good two-way understanding of the tasks facing your large strategic enterprise and our university. So we are ready to move forward fast - in all shared projects. "
Finally, the discussion participants agreed to meet at least once a quarter (and, if necessary, more often) to coordinate shared activities. At the level of experts, the interaction must become permanent.
