Our students feel confident abroad. They not only travel, study for double degree programs, but also have international internship in numerous European projects. Here are impressions of student Ilona Bochkareva, IEE.
I can say with confidence that the fifth year at NTUU “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” after I. Sikorsky leaves unforgettable impressions for me, because education has brought unexpected pleasure of internship in Poland, Rzeszow Polytechnic University after Ignacy Lukashevich.
The powerful information infrastructure, modern laboratories, research groups of different directions, a sports complex, a huge scientific library, high level of teaching make Rzeszow Polytechnic University one of the most popular and prestigious technical universities not only in Poland but in all Eastern Europe.
During international internship I attended lectures on environmental monitoring, environmental biotechnology, industrial and special structures, cleaning and restoration of water, treatment systems and waste management, maintenance of water-sewer systems, environmental chemistry, statistics, technical foreign language. All subjects were drawn exam (final test) during sessions, enlisted in KPI. I devoted more time to search for information material, worked in the library, consulted with teachers. This knowledge will be used in educational activities. I have already published thesis in Polish. I am going to attend the conference, write article on alternative energy sources in Poland, and work on master's thesis.
International internships - is not only education, but also possibility to get acquainted with the history and culture of other countries.
I had always planned to really get to know Warsaw. It is a city of surprises. I was impressed by Science Center "Copernicus", where you can know the effects of our beautiful world. Constant symbol of the capital - Mermaid, there are always a lot of tourists, especially in hot days. There are fountains from which emanates a pleasant coolness. I was also impressed by zoo, which shows the fauna from all over the world.
I visited a salt mine in Wieliczka (near Krakow), included on the List of UNESCO World Heritage Site. I reached depths of 135 meters on foot, breathed healthy air, learned about hard miners work. It was a memorable and inspiring trip. I got a lot of new experiences and emotions. It is interesting and rewarding experience. Recommended!
