This year's spring and early summer season began intensive research to students of ITS: student competition, two competitions of scientific papers and several international conferences – incomplete list of activities where talented youth can try their hand.
On 25th March , at the ODESSA NATIONAL O. S. POPOV ACADEMY OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS ( ONAT ) was held second round of the All-Ukrainian student research in technical sciences from the direction of "Telecommunications". From ITS was presented two works. Works of Gvozdetskii Natalia and Ishchenko Ivan was awarded with the diploma of 3rd degree, and Kot Andriy was awarded with diploma for scientific achievements.
On 20th April, Olga Kutelova, Bogdan Smigel and Borislav Naboka presented their works at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in "radio engineering". Borislav Naboka was awarded with diploma of 3rd degree.
Also as part of ITS team of 4th year students of A.Krivosheina, A.Lyachyk, A.Kibenko, O.Lytvyn and E.Semendiaka presented NTUU "KPI" in All-Ukrainian program “Professionals of the future” (order-principal "Vodafone") on 30th May and gained the diploma for its development "For the practice of the majority of relevance and speed of implementation."
On April 28 students of the ITS visited Odessa again - this time to participate in the All-Ukrainian student competition in "Telecommunications", "Telecommunication systems and networks" and “Information communication networks”.
With the championship in the competition 51 students from 8 Institusion of Higher Education, including 9 students of the Institute of Telecommunication Systems "KPI". Contestant performed the task in the following subjects: "Telecommunication Transmission Systems", "Directing systems of electric and optical communication", "Theory of telecommunications", "Systems of switching and distribution of information", "Computers engineering and microprocessors," "Mobile Systems communication, ", " Telecommunication and information network", " Internet technologies and Web-design. "
The results speak for themselves.
ITS team of " Telecommunication and information network " took the 1st team place. In addition, Bogdan Kolomojtsev took the 1st individual place, Anna Gahova – 2nd individual place, and Anton Didkovskiy received a diploma for original solution of tasks.
ITS team of “Information communication networks” took second team place. Moreover, Oleg Kulik took the 1st individual place, and and Alexander Zaloznyy received a diploma for original solution of tasks.
Bachelors team took third place in the "Telecommunications" and students Shoferivskyy Andrew and John Osypchuk received diplomas for original solution of tasks.
Traditionally, these activities are supported by the company "Kyivstar", which organized a sight-seeing tour for all the participants, and awarded winners valuable prizes. Julia Drobysheva - Manager of public relations in "Kyivstar", wished to the students new achievements and victories.
Students took an active participation in international conferences. Only the fact that at the conference "Problems of telecommunications – 2016" were 87 students of ITS, its represent a serious attitude of students in scientific activities. In addition, Natalia Gvozdetska, Andrei Zaharchuk and Yuriy Dobrov demonstrated their developments at the conference IEEE BlackSeaCom2016, 6 – 9 June in Varna (Bulgaria). Their development in the "Internet of things" caused active interest of scientists from different countries. Established scientific contacts will help students in their future research activities and may become the basis for shared scientific projects.
