On May 26, 2015 at KPI graduates of electrical power engineers, 1960 (CCE group and ESS)were hospitably welcomed, who met here on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of graduation.
Rector of NTUU “KPI”.M.Z. Zgurovsky, Vice-rector, Y. I. Yakimenko, Vice-rector of educational work P. O. Kirichek and other University leaders strongly promoted the holding of this meeting.
The place of the official part of the meeting was the wonderful hall of the Administrative Council of the CRPD, equipped with modern technical equipment for easier communication of attended and a social dinner for the graduates was held in the spacious dining hall of campus №31.
The meeting brought together 25 graduates, representing more than a third of the possible presence. Now graduates of CCE groups and ESA living in 20 cities and towns in six countries (Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Israel, USA and Germany). With all of them are maintained close ties. The majority of graduates is now retired, but five others are still working on the places of their permanent job. They are L. Bychkov in St. Petersburg, V. Moretsky in Kishinev, V. Omelchenko in Moscow and the inhabitant of Kiev S. Political and V. Sapronov.
During communication graduates have dealt with many issues from student and private life, in particular the issues of compliance received by them in KPI to professional training direction of their careers. Less than half of the graduates of the CCE groups and ESA worked in the electricity sector (production and distribution of electricity, the design of power supply systems, etc.). The rest, based on what I saw in KPI stock of fundamental knowledge, successfully mastered other areas of professional activity.
A significant event in the regular meetings of the graduates of electrical power engineers of 1960 (and it was already the 14th meeting) was the release of the 55-th anniversary of the graduation of the book with memories and sketches from the student` and their further life, the material for which has been sent by more than 20 graduates. Its drafters were Vladimir Tishchenko and Vladimir Laptev.
The publication of this book was possible thanks to the financial support from the Graduate Association KPI (Chairman of the Board N. To.Rodionov) and United trade Union Committee of the CRPD (Chairman: V. I. Molchanov).
The organizers of the meeting are sincerely grateful to the chief of Protocol and visa Department L. M. Chekalova, head of the Department of technical training Vladimir Lazarenko, Deputy Director of the publishing house "Polytechnic L. A. Skorski and head of the center for students nutrition Y. M. Gurko, who contributed to the success of the reunion.
Current and future graduates of the CRPD should follow the example of engineers-electrical power 1960, who has maintained mutual friendships formed during their studies for years.
