Belt wrestling - is an ancient and popular form of contest of the peoples of Asia. It includes elements of other famous struggles - such as hooking, tripping, landing hooks, throws over the hip, rolls across the chest… Thus, it has a large arsenal of actions and techniques.
The main provisions of the struggle "Alish" - each of the opponents should have a belt, which is fastened so that it is easy to navigate through the torso. First, athletes take capture of the opponent’s belt winding it around the hands. According to the command, "Alish!" struggle begins using these techniques. It lasts for five minutes until one of the athletes do not win "clean" throw the opponent on the shoulder or on points.
The Master of Mechanical Engineering Institute Andrei Nikitchenko was included in our team. He made a significant contribution to the overall Ukraine’s victory in this sports forum.
