24-27 June, 2014, the jubilee, XV International Scientific and Technical Conference "Progressive technique, technology and engineering education in 2014" was held in the NTUU"KPI".
The event was organized by the Minstery of Education and Science of Ukraine, NTUU "KPI", Scientific Council for "Mechanics of Solids" at the Department of Mechanics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Union of Mechanical Engineers NTUU"KPI", JSC "Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Technology", Sevastopol National Technical University, Wroclaw University of Technology (Poland), University Otto-von-Guericke, Magdeburg (Germany), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade (Serbia) and the technical University of Gabrovo (Bulgaria).
The international program committee included representatives of seven countries - Ukraine, Serbia, Poland, Germany, Georgia, Romania and Bulgaria. Made to the More than 190 reports were presented to the conference.
The conference began with a plenary session, which was opened by the Vice President for Research NTUU "KPI" NAS academician Mikhail Il'chenko and Director of Institute of Mechanical Engineering NTUU"KPI" prof. Nicholas Bobyr. Then the participants worked in the sections: "Modern problems of mechanics of deformable solid", "Resource processes of plastic material handling", "Applied fluid mechanics and mechatronics" and "Progressive engineering and technology engineering."
