The undergraduate Anna Martinenko is well-known in Department of Nuclear Power Stations and Engineering Thermal Physics of the Faculty of Heat and Power Egineering. It is difficult not to remember this spectacular girl. If we add progress in study and scientific researches, it becomes quite logical why she is awarded the scholarship of I.V. Kurchatov and National Nuclear Energy Generating Company “Energoatom”. Anna always liked to study: to learn something new and to put this knowledge into practice. She finished a bachelor degree with honors.
In science the girl got a foot in the door when she was the schoolgirl: she participated in academic competitions on physics, mathematics and won them, in competitions of the Minor academy of Sciences of Ukraine, graduated with honors from the Ukrainian correspondence school of physics and technology at Physics and technology educational scientific center of National academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Except studying, Anna participated in conferences on field problems, in particular, in the III International summer nuclear school “Youth and Future of Nuclear Power”, the IX International summer school “Achievements and Application of Modern Informatics, Mathematics and Physics” and attends professional lectures and workshops.
Having begun during an undergraduate studies work in the field of radiological protection, she continues to deepen knowledge of this question within writing of the Master Thesis. Anna says that “to become really good expert, it is little simply to want, it is necessary to develop constantly, to set a high bar each time and never to stop at what has been reached”. And the enhanced stipend will stand her in good stead. After all it is not only recognition of her achievements, but also incentive to work further.
