On November, 26 at the National Technical University of Ukraine " Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" Memorandum on Partnership and Cooperation with the Association " IT Ukraine " was signed. On behalf of NTUU "KPI" the document was signed by the Rector of the University Michael Zgurovsky, on behalf of the Association – by its executive director Victor Valyeev .
In preparing the memorandum representatives of the KPI and domestic IT industry guided by the desire to create in Ukraine a favorable environment for the development of national software industry , focused on the interests of the state and aimed at the development of the information society. Thus his position reflects the main objectives of cooperation and ways to implement them. To establish effective cooperation parties to the agreement creating a joint working group meeting which will be held as needed , but not less than once every 2 months.
Evidence of business nature of the Memorandum was not even proved by its signature. It was followed by the traditional for such ceremony events - roundtable "IT education and IT industry: efficiency - in concert". So it was a business meeting interested in the constructive work of specialists. This work is all the more necessary that the IT industry we have today is rapidly developing and variously estimated size of the domestic market last year outsourcing services has ranged from $ 1 to $ 3 billion

Asked specifics of Ukrainian school IT professionals and, in particular , their training in NTUU "KPI" stopped Rector of the University , Academician of NAS of Ukraine Michael Zgurovsky". KPI is the model of a research university . This means that at the core of his work is the so called knowledge triangle : education, research and innovation. The latter is new to Ukraine , and we are now trying to fully master it. To this end, our structure we established in 2006 Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic ." He became a major contributor to the introduction of innovative components of the University, - said Michael Zgurovsky. - That in the learning process we are building cooperation with companies in the Science Park area . So we future engineers and leaders teach the understanding of business and market mechanisms. One of the main activities of "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" is a work in IT technology. Moreover, students and researchers who work with science parks , carry serious naukovomistki order in which they have to solve complex custom tasks based on serious mathematical and physical exploration. In order not to lose the best students and researchers to keep them working in academic schools KPI , the structure created by the Science Park Business Incubator " Polytec " is focused on IT development.
