On March 19 and 20, the first chess championship of the faculty and staff of the capital's universities was held in the smart shelter of the University's Scientific and Technical Library.

The electric drones assembled by Kyiv Polytechnic students are now in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ground drones were sent to evacuate and rescue wounded soldiers to the 23rd Separate Special Forces Battalion in the Eastern sector.

KPI students handed over their own assembled Mamonov's electric stretcher to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The ground drone is designed to evacuate the wounded from the battlefield. It is controlled remotely.

On April 1, 2024, a bust of Igor Sikorsky, the man whose name is immortalized in the name of the university, was unveiled in the Academic Council Hall.
