The visit of a delegation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation of the United Arab Emirates

On September 19, a delegation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation of the United Arab Emirates visited Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It was headed by the Head of the Department of Bilateral International Cooperation of the UAE, Abdullah Alnouimi.

The Vice-Rector for International Relations of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Sidorenko, the General Director of the Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic" Volodymyr Gnat, Vice-President of the Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic" Viktor Kamaev, the Deputy Vice-Rector for International Relations Ksenia Yudkova met the guests.

Members of the delegation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation of the UAE got acquainted with the university, visited the State Polytechnic Museum and its Department of Aviation and Space named after Igor Sikorsky and discussed with the representatives of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute the prospects of cooperation in the fields of education, development of innovations and scientific and technical cooperation.

The presentation of educational and scientific activity of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and, in particular, the activities of the Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic" was held.

The participants of the conversation touched upon the possibility of graduating students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute on the UAE labour market. According to Serhiy Sidorenko's words, there are two possible ways of cooperation. The first is the development of interaction and cooperation with those UAE universities through which alumni exchange will be established. And the second way is to study on the principle of dual education when students simultaneously with the university study work on the projects of the client company and after receiving higher education have the opportunity to find employment in this enterprise (for example, cooperation with "Boeing Ukraine").

The participants of the meeting agreed on continuing of the contacts.
