The process of wastewater treatment at the university

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Wastewater Disposal and Treatment,” the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” is connected to the city's centralized sewage network (on the condition that the university shall pay for sewage services under the concluded agreement).

At the plenary meeting of the III session of the Kyiv City Council of the IX convocation on September 19, 2024, the deputies decided by a majority vote to rename the street where the building No. 28 of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute stands in honor of the outstanding Ukrainian scientist and politician M.A. Pavlovsky, whose entire professional career and scientific achievements are associated with Kyiv Polytechnic.

On 19 September 2024, a commemorative plaque with the inscription in Ukrainian and Polish ‘Grapes planted in 2022 on the centenary of the KPI Pupils’ Section in Poland’ was unveiled on the wall near the building No. 6, which was made in Poland and brought to Kyiv on the initiative of the long-time chairman of the Section, Doctor Emeritus of KPI Janusz Fuksa.

Sculptor Oleksandr Kuzmin: His work and works in KPI

Kyiv sculptor Oleksandr Kuzmin is one of those artists who confidently work not only with clay, bronze and stone, but also use wood, welded steel elements, marble, silver, polymer, gypsum, etc.  This helped him to form his own creative style and to embody his attitude to the topic in each new work, combining a modern vision with the classical sound of the composition.
