2023 - by the decision of the European Commission - was declared the European Year of Skills. Kyiv Polytechnic was the first among Ukrainian universities to join and become a participant.

The meeting discussed issues of dual education, the introduction of world technologies and advanced training of students.

KPI students are most interested in dual education with Kyivstar, internship programs, and participation in joint projects.

A sakura alley was laid in the new KPI park along Borshchahivska Street. The young trees were planted by students, university teachers and representatives of Boing Ukraine.

The KPI FIOT received more than 30 units of computer equipment from the Ukrainian IT company Yalantis: monitors, computer units, keyboards and modems.

The Association of Industrial Automation Enterprises of Ukraine (APPAU) and the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute organized a forum of technical universities on the Industry 4.0 development in Ukraine.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will develop various cyber security information systems. Such as, for example, identifying systems for enemy cyber attacks and media propaganda.

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute signed a memorandum of cooperation with the State Labour Service.

Joint activities suggest the involvement of students and scientists, organization and protection of labour, professional development and training verification.
