Kyiv Polytechnic revitalizes cooperation with the educational community of South Korea. John Jong Yoon, Director of the Korean Education Center, visited KPI. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of extrapolating the South Korean educational experience to KPI, as well as the joint development of the scientific and research component of both universities.
"The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea knows Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as one of the best technical universities in Europe. Therefore, we will definitely resume our cooperation and implement many interesting educational and scientific projects," said Jong Jong Yoon.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Anatolii Melnychenko emphasized that Kyiv Polytechnic is currently very interested in Korean educational programs in computer technology, Big Data, artificial intelligence, space technology, materials science, nano- and microelectronics. And also in cooperation with large-scale Korean companies such as Samsung.
The next stage of joint activities is to combine the scientific potential of leading South Korean universities with Kyiv Polytechnic.
