From 3 November to 10, annual art competition and exhibition "Talents KPI" was held in the university. 68 contestants took part in it: students, teachers, researchers, staff NTUU "KPI" presented a total of 350 authors' works. The works were exhibited in the exhibition hall of building №7. There were among the contenders well known participants as well as those who firstly presented their works. Without a doubt, the competition contributed to intensify artistic and cultural growth of students, faculty and staff of the university.
December 11, there was a closing ceremony of the competition with the presentation of gratitude to all participants and awards to the winners.
In the category "Painting" first place was divided between Anna Andryushchenko - 6th year student IPP, gr. TM-31m, Lydia Petrova - student of 5th year student IPP, gr. SG-01 and Catherine Tymofyeyenko - student of 4th year FAM, gr. KV-12.
Second place in the same category was taken by Tatiana Hnitetska - assistant professor of descriptive geometry, Anna Sedleruk - a student of 4th year FMM, gr. UI-11 and Alena Savoschenko - a student of 4th year FMM, gr. UI-11.
Senior Lecturer FMM Irina Shekhovtsova, which students annually take part in the competition, this year ranked third. This place was shared by fellow CCA Farshidi Var Elena, a student of the 1st year FMM, gr. US-42 Irina Yakymets and student of 1st year FMM, gr. US-41 Anastasia Hodovana.
In the category "Graphics" first place was shared by the laboratory assistant IPP T. Scherbyna, 4th year student IPP, gr. SG-11 Tatiana Malik, 5th year student IPP g. SG-41m Pauline Popovkina. Second place was given to Christina Jarosz, 4th course student IPP, gr. SG-11. Third place - 5th year student IPP, gr. SG-41m Oksana Pushniak.
Works of decorative art were interesting and diverse. In this category the first place was given to Katherina Vovchuk - methodist of picture gallery and Olga Lyubarets - 4th year student FMM, gr. UI-11. Second place - a teacher FCT Irene Kuzyevanova students and 4th year student FMM, gr. UM-11 Julia Stefkivska.
High level of skill was observed in the works of embroidery, one of the nominations of the contest, and for the jury is was quite difficult to determine a winner. So the first place was shared by Associate Professor of Economics and Business FMM Elena Klimenko, assistant professor of mathematical physics Olga Borisenko and 3rd year student FMM, gr. UI-21 Aliona Zvirkun.
Second place was given to Eugenia Arkhypska - the employee of General and Theoretical Physics, Alla Korobkova - Accountant DEF, Mary Hloza - student of 3rd year FBE, gr. BM-23. Third place - the cleaner of 7th building NTUU "KPI" Lydia Lisak and student of 3rd year FMM, gr. UI-21 Alina Krasnoschok. It should be noted that many of the contestants created their work in the classroom in the art studio "Harmony" led by Irina Shekhovtsov and "Harmony" led by Andrei Kulagin.
All winners "Talents KPI" on the basis of the jury's decision and order of the Rector of NTUU "KPI" received monetary awards.
