Recently it was published by "Rainbow", a book of famous Ukrainian journalist (by the way, an employee of our University) Alexander Pavlovich Rozhen called "Racing without finish." This book has a great success. However, in its genre (science and art) it is almost the only one. This book is the story about the scientific field in physics - thermoelectricity and our contemporary - academician of NAS of Ukraine, President of the International Thermoelectric Academy Lukyan Ivanovich Anatychuk.
It seems that the hero of this story is living in the pages of the book. And the reader resides with him his childhood, adolescence, adulthood, formation and flowering of creative talent. The book is written in a lively open tongue pushes the reader into the whirlpool of events that captures it. This is a story about a real person, our contemporary, about his work. This is a in real life research teams. The author, who, incidentally, has physical and mathematical university education, masterfully illuminates the scientific and technical problems in areas such as thermoelectricity, which significantly broadens the mind of the reader. I hope that in a short time from the pen of a talented journalist and now a writer, there will be appeared more stories about scientists polytechnics. They deserve it.
The editorial board of the newspaper "Kyiv Polytechnic" with great pleasure starts publishing separate chapters the story "Racing without finish," which, no doubt, will be interesting and, most importantly, useful for scientists and students of our university.
