How I Found My Way into Engineering

Hi! My name is Mykyta, and in this article I want to share my story: how I chose engineering, entered Igor Sikorsky Polytechnic Institute, and embarked on a journey that, although still relatively short, has already been quite an interesting one.

Workshop at the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation

In early June, the Department of Automation of Electromechanical Systems and Electric Drive of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Automation at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the Second International Workshop on Computational Methods in Systems Engineering in person. The workshop focused on the use of various computational methods, models, and software tools for studying dynamic systems. It was organized to facilitate the exchange of ideas and research findings aimed at developing optimal solutions to complex engineering challenges in electrical engineering and related fields.

Science without borders: participation of FMF students in academic mobility programs

The development strategy of Igor Sikorsky KPI provides for increasing the level of academic mobility of students and teachers through international exchange programs, summer schools, internships, etc. This is one of the university's priority areas of activity aimed at deepening the internationalization and integration of participants in the educational process into the international educational and scientific space, improving the quality of education and the effectiveness of scientific research, as well as ensuring competitiveness in the educational services market.

Working groups on gender equality: areas of activity defined

On June 20, an inaugural meeting of the heads of working groups on gender equality of faculties and educational and scientific institutes of Igor Sikorsky KPI was held. It was chaired by Tetyana Zhelyaskova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University.
