Our volunteer community is very active and developed. Polytechnicians collected and handed over humanitarian aid to the residents of Bucha, Irpin, and Kherson. At Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, a temporary shelter was set up for animals evacuated from the Kyiv region.
In Ploshcha Znan’ (Square of Knowledge) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute has appeared a new art object. This is a gift to the university from the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Ukraine.
The Association of Rectors of Higher Technical Educational Institutions of Ukraine and the Conference of Rectors of Polish Technical Universities signed a memorandum on the creation of a university cluster in the field of artificial intelligence and cyber security.

On December 1, 1991, the All-Ukrainian referendum on the Act of Declaration of Independence was held. 90.92% of voters gave the answer "Yes".
Studmisto (the campus) and the trade union committee of students organized the traditional, 14th Campus Chess tournament. 24 participants took part in it.

Anastasiia Kurulenko, a student of the 11th grade of the Polytechnic Lyceum of NTUU "KPI", a graduate of the Chemistry and Biology Department of the Kyiv Junior Academy of Sciences, won gold at the INOVA 2022, 46th International Invention Show in Zagreb, Croatia.
On November 21, 2022, the XV Open Student Olympiad on the Electronic Circuiy Theory was held in on-line mode.
The Faculty of Sociology and Law of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in the contest "Best practices for implementing educational innovations in the system of professional training for civil servants" for the third time.
On June 13, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine issued Order No. 842 “On Amendments to Certain Education Standards”, which amended the standards of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education. The section “List of graduate competencies” was supplemented with a paragraph stating that a graduate must have “the ability to make decisions and act in compliance with the principle of inadmissibility of corruption and any other manifestations of dishonesty”.
