The regular meeting of the trade union committee of NTUU "KPI" was held on November 25. The discussed problems were: the decision VIII Plenum Union of Education and Science of Ukraine; a meeting of representatives of Kyiv trade unions with Kyiv top officials; on implementation of the program of medical care for employees and students of the University; on the progress of election campaign; on election conference of trade union KPI students; on the current state of funding of the university; on preparations for the Christmas holidays for the children of employees of NTUU "KPI".
The details of the resolution of regular Plenum Central Committee of trade union were given in the report of trade union chairperson V.I.Molchanov. At a meeting of representatives of Kyiv trade unions with Kyiv Mayor V. Klitschko, according to V.A. Korsakov, delay in payment of wages to employees of municipal enterprises was discussed. Representatives of teachers emphasized the inadmissibility of such practices.
Dean FBE V.B.Maksymenko told about an ambitious program of medical care to employees and students. It was proposed to develop a pilot project to reform health care based on NTUU "KPI" as a symbiosis of material, personnel and legislative factors University, Ministries of Health and Education. It is assumed improvement of primary health care based outpatient department NTUU "KPI", providing qualified consulting and hospital treatment in multi-profiled medical facilities Kyiv and specialized research hospitals, rehabilitation at recreation centers and sports complex university. Initially, the heads of departments of trade union bureau are tasked to provide a survey of potential users of health services and find out the basic requirements for the quality and level of care.
As for the final stage of election campaign, it was supported the carrying out the university trade union conference on December 18, 2014 in the hall of the Academic Council of 3.00 PM. At the student union conference, the reports of heads of trade union of students and the Audit Commission were overwhelmingly approved. As a result of the secret ballot, Andrew Havrushkevych was elected the chairman of the labor union of students NTUU “KPI”. Other issues of the conference were postponed because the absence of intermediate. The new date will be announced later.
V.I.Molchanov gave information on the funding of the University up to the end of 2014. In contrast with budget support, which is made almost entirely, there are significant problems with off-budget spending by about 4 million, blocked by the Treasury. Unsatisfactory situation is with funding university research, which significantly reduced the volume and the following year with a downward trend. Chairman of the trade union emphasized the need for objective, individual approach to address the issue of employment of individual researchers, who are refused to extend the contract.
As for the providing children of employees KPI with New Year gifts, in the absence of financing costs of this article by the Social Insurance Fund, trade union decided to buy gifts for the children of workers - union members of the university. Tickets for the New Year celebration will be procured centrally - by 50% due to trade union funds, the rest - on the number of applications Union Bureau offices.
