The visit of the delegation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to 🇫🇷 France ended at the Institution Nationale des Invalides (National Institute for the Disabled) in Paris. This is a unique French institution that has been supporting military personnel with combat injuries for over 300 years.
The main topics of the meeting were:
📌 further cooperation in the areas of physical and psychological rehabilitation;
📌 joint work on the creation and improvement of individual prostheses.
For our university, this is not just a scientific interest, but a specific mission - to apply the engineering and medical potential of the university to develop technologies that can change the lives of wounded soldiers.
The National Institute for the Disabled shared their experience in integrating rehabilitation, prosthetics and psychosocial support into a single system, an approach that could become the basis for new initiatives in Ukraine.
