A probable scenario of flooding due to the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station is being realized

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute scientists have prepared probable scenarios of the consequences of the Kakhovka HPP explosion.

As of the morning of June 9, the situation was developing closer to the probable scenario.

In the coming days, a slight increase in water levels downstream of the Dnipro is expected, followed by a gradual decrease in water levels in all flooded areas.
