Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Library launches the project "Save KPI’s history". We want to save unique testimonies of the university's diverse life and we will be happy to get some printed and unprinted gifts. We collect various materials, it can be:
- leaflets, pamphlets, booklets, programs;
- invitations, tickets, posters;
- diplomas, medals, certificates;
- calendars, postcards, letters;
- printed ads, photos, audio and video.
With this project we establish the basis of our library collection "Documents of the Social Life of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute ", which will help to reflect the peculiarities of social life of KPI during different years. Materials will be stored in the library, and in future will be digitized within the “Digital Library” project.
We are inviting students, teachers, employees and members of their families to review their archives, cathedrals and home libraries and to fill the collection of materials.
How to transfer materials to the library:
- to bring them personally to the department of rare and valuable documents (2nd hall, 3rd floor);
- to send by mail to the address of the library: 37, Peremohy Avenue, Kyiv, 03056, Ukraine;
- to call the library by 204-97-24 and ask to pick up materials from the faculty, department or other university unit.
