The annual social-sports holiday "Healthy relay" was held on May 24, 2017, on Politekhnicheskaya St. and Polyana Square. It was organized by administration of the campus of KPI with the support of the primary labor union organization of students and student social service of the University. It began with the traditional run "For a healthy lifestyle" and a dancing flash-mob "Morning exercises".
The "Healthy Relay - 2017" was held to the principle of division into thematic zones, where everyone could find for himself class in taste. Igrarium offered a variety of board games: "Alias", "Django", "Monopoly", "Explosive kittens", "Ligretto", "Risk", "Carcassonne", "Star munchkin", table football and more. Also, there were social games - "Pink glasses" (about human trafficking) and "Step by step" (knowledge of features of a disease HIV / AIDS) which were organized by representatives of the All-Ukrainian public center "Volonter".
On "A glade of masters" there has taken place the master class in weaving of braids and, for hand-made lovers, a master class in the drawing on fabric where everyone could turn usual clothes on a design masterpiece, and a master class in creation of flower jewelry. Here, the participants and organizers together created the symbol of the event - the "Tree of Health" in the origami technique.
"Bookkrossing" is a section of exchange of books, where it was possible to get a new interesting book instead of read. It is very pleasant that there were many fans of the printed word at the university. In art space "I love KPI" participants filled up the photo albums and social networks with bright shots.
On the show club "ACROLINE KPI" you could test your balance and do acrobatic exercises. There were enough enthusiastic fans and girls from the club "PoleFlying" who have held a small master class in performance of tricks on a pole.
There was a place where were sold delicious cookies made by students and also "A fair of healthy food" where experts acquainted everyone with theoretical bases of healthy food, measured body fat and provided with practical advices..
Representatives of the student's social service have carried out a social preventive event on free anonymous express testing "Pass a test for HIV / AIDS and hepatitis B and C at your university", and also free express measurements of glucose level in blood "KPishnik, control your sugar".
Also, there were sports competitions: the championship on women's mini-football, power triathlon, microfootball and the non-traditional this year's competition - "Wet volleyball", which brought a lot of positive emotions to the participants and the audience.
The "Healthy Relay - 2017" has come to the end with an awards ceremony of the winners of a competition of the social advertizing contest "It is fashionable to be healthy", the drawing on asphalt "Influence on the world" and sports competitions.
