November 13 in the French capital Paris was committed a series of bloody terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of 130 innocent people. Rector of NTUU "KPI" Michael Zgurovsky next day sent to the Embassy of France in Ukraine letter on behalf of the University with sincere words of sympathy and support. The answer of the Ambassador of France in Ukraine Mrs. Isabelle Dumont we print below.

Dear Sir Zgurovsky,

I was very touched by your letter of condolences because of the terrible terrorist attacks that took place in Paris on 13 November this year. Your support is very important for me as and for the whole team of the Embassy. The manifestation of solidarity that we have received in Kiev and other Ukraine cities, became valuable reliance for the entire French community.

As this clearly stated by the President of the Republic, we do not retreat from terrorism and we will save determination and commitment to our values. We have to unite our strength to maintain this common struggle. I have no doubt about the readiness of Ukrainian leadership to take part in it.

Thank you again, that you became on the French side at this sad hour and request you to accept my testimony of respect.

Yours faithfully, Isabelle Dumont, Ambassador of France in Ukraine | Kyiv, 30 November 2015
