On 29 May 1914 (all dates are old style), the second prototype of the Ilya Muromets aircraft, piloted by its chief designer Igor Sikorsky, who recently turned 25 on 25 May, took off for the first time from the Korpusnyi Aerodrom of St. Petersburg. It was much lighter than its predecessor and had more powerful engines.

In early May, the State Polytechnic Museum named after Borys Paton at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute opened an exhibition of American military vehicles, which was supplemented by mini dioramas and models of aircraft that took part in the most important military operations of the anti-Hitler coalition in 1944.
Artificial intelligence, or AI, as it is often abbreviated, is probably the fastest growing scientific and technological field in comparison to other IT industries and breakthrough areas of innovation. The scope of its application is constantly growing: AI is already serving people in agriculture and industry, medicine and transport, marketing and sociology, etc. And this range is expanding almost every month. For our country, its potential for use in the defence sector is particularly important today.
