Water-informational center (Museum of water) is situated at a picturesque location on one of the Kyiv city center’s hills.
Center’s buildings (water towers and reservoirs), built more than 130 years ago, are a part of cultural nature complex, now known as the "Khreshchatyi" park. This place, formerly known as Royal Garden, founded in 1743 by order of Empress Elizabeth, is where majestic monuments of the Ukrainian baroque are situated. The main decoration of the park are well-known scenic views offered by a large number of viewing points and the "Bridge of Love", as well as reconstructed old water towers and reservoirs, on the basis of which the first in Ukraine Water Information Center was opened at 24th May, 2003.
The place is very popular among residents and guests of the city, including near and far abroad.
