Magical, fabulous, beautiful, fragile, friendly, always smiling and extremely talented - it's all about Anna Matviichuk, winner of the NTUU"KPI" competition in the nomination "The young teacher-researcher - 2013". Anna is the representative of the first students graduated in 2002, who entered the newly established inter-university medical and engineering faculty (now - the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering). Today, she holds the position of assistant at the department of biomedical cybernetics FBE.
Theme of research A.Matviychuk refers to one of the priority directions of development of society, namely to the analysis and modeling of physiological processes of the human body. Anna O. has developed a decision-making system for a cardiologist to assess the optimal method of surgical intervention in the treatment of coronary heart disease. On the results of her research young scientist reported at international conferences in Ukraine and Lithuania, as well as in publications published in scientific journals around the world (Ukraine, Lithuania, USA). Anna is actively involved in carrying out research work performed on FBE.
A.Matviychuk respects her teachers and mentors, in fact she owes them her success. She still remembers and repeatedly quoted the lectures ot faculty founder Professor Dr.m.s. V.P.Yatsenko; FBE Dean Prof. Dr. m.s. V.B.Maksimenko; her first scientific curator of Diploma Studies Assoc., Ph.D. V.I.Zubchuk and current scientific director of dissertation research Senior resercher, Ph.D. E.A.Nastenko. When we asked the young scientist, what is the secret of her success, we received the answer: "The secret is very simple: I have good teachers. They created all the possibilities for work, interaction with medicine, to meet the challenges of clinicians."
Students are always interested in attending classes on subjects that are taught by Anna Matviychuk, because she demonstrates the scientific knowledge to real examples, received personally in collaboration with scientists from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery of M.M. Amozov.
Recently it became known that A.O.Matviychuk with colleagues - an assistant professor of BME, Ph.D. O.G.Kiselovoy and assistant chair of MCTM O.K.Nosovets awarded by National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for young scientists for scientific work "multi-system evaluation and correction of disorders of the circulatory system". This work was done under supervision by the head of the department of MCTM Ph.D. , Senior Scientist E.A.Nastenko. The work is a collaboration of NTUU"KPI" and NICS of Amozof in the Scientific-Educational Center of Cardiovascular Engineering, established in 2011 by a joint decision of the NAS of Ukraine, Academy of Medical Sciences and NTUU "KPI" at the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
We wish the young teacher-researcher A.O.Matviychuk successfully defend her candidate thesis and begin a new phase in the scientific life.
