Outstanding scientist, brilliant teacher, head of the department of mathematical physics, academician of the HS of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Stepan Dmitrievich Ivasisen December 10 turned 75 years old. His outstanding scientific achievements in the field of differential equations with partial derivatives are translated, published and studied in the leading scientific centers abroad. His exact analytical results on the properties of fundamental solutions of different classes of parabolic systems of equations, Green matrices of general parabolic boundary value problems and correct solvability of the Cauchy problem and boundary value problems have become an invaluable contribution to the treasury of Ukrainian and world science.

The scientific path of Professor S.D.Ivasishen path began at the Mathematics Department of the University of Chernivtsi, from which he graduated with honors in 1959. And then - an invitation to graduate school where he successfully defended his thesis and dived into the deepest theory, and in the 26-year-old age he was entrusted university department in the world famous university. Its high scientific and pedagogical skills becomes known, his exemplary lectures were attended by teachers of other departments. His authority is growing and among teachers and thankful students. His highly professional scientific and pedagogical work is highly appreciated. His name is written at the regional honors board.

In 1969 S.D.Ivasishen was invited to Kiev Higher Radio Engineering School of air defense to head the Department of Higher Mathematics. In 1981 he defended his doctoral dissertation and became the professor of physics and mathematics faculty of Kiev State University of Shevchenko. In 1988 S.D.Ivasishen accepted an invitation to create and lead the department of mathematical modeling in Chernivtsi University and at the same time he created a scientific department in Chernivtsi on boundary value problems for partial differential equations of the Institute of Applied Problems of Mechanics and Mathematics named after Ya.S.Pidstrigach of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. In 2003 he returned to the capital and headed the department of higher mathematics at the Kiev Slavonic University .In 2004 he accepted an invitation to work on the physics and mathematics faculty NTUU "KPI", at first as the professor in the Department of Mathematical Physics, and since 2005 - Head of Department.

In 2004 the authoritative foreign publishers mathematical literature in Basel - Boston - Berlin printed his co-written monograph "Analytic methods in the theory of differential and pseudo-differential equations of paravolic type". He has published over 250 scientific papers, 3 monographs and 11 textbooks that are embedded in the educational process of higher educational institutions of Ukraine and got the recognition among teachers and students.

For outstanding achievements in scientific and pedagogical activity S.D.Ivasishen was awarded with the sign "Excellence in Education of Ukraine", the Order of Red Banner of Labor, the jubilee medal "For valorous work", Yaroslav the Wise Academy Award HS Ukraine. S.D.Ivasishen was among academicians-founders of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, a member of the editorial boards of six scientific professional publications, since 1995 he is the member of the Ukrainian, and since 1996 - Scientific American Mathematical Society.

S.D.Ivasishen is the sensitive and benevolent leader, a highly educated man, highly respected among teachers and students. He is demanding to teachers and students, but above all to himself, he receives annually more weighty theoretical results at the forefront of the modern theory of boundary value problems of mathematical physics.

Dear Stepan Dmitrievich! Collective and friends wish you good health, family well-being, happiness and new creative ups and achievements!
