Today students from 41 countries study in our university, there are 12 associations, which connect fellow countrymen of their countries. Each association has chosen a head, who organizes the association’s work, helps students in solving their problems concerning both studying and living.
The meeting of the association’s heads took place on the 14th of November. A new student union was chosen: Jumanazar Abdulhamidov from Turkmenistan, the student of the 4th year of study of the faculty of applied mathematics has become the head of Interclub; the head’s deputies – Mirgul Sadykova from Kazakhstan, the student of the 1st year of studying of the faculty of Electric power engineering and Automatics, Namerai Purevhuu from Mongolia, the listener of the preparation division of the Center of International Education of NTUU “KPI” and Mehdieva Gulnar from Azerbaijan, the student of the 2nd year of studying of faculty of management and marketing.
The director of the Center of International education of NTUU “KPI”, prof. B.A. Tsyganok has expressed his views of the Interclub’s work and has invited the Students Council for cooperation. Along with the vice-director of the campus, E.B. Lazorenko, the question concerning the law-obedience securing in dormitories and on the campus territory was discussed. The Students Council representatives Dmytro Afanasiev, Bogdan Zadvornyy and Valentyn Opolskiy have invited foreign students to work actively in different branches of the Students Council. They have also noticed that Ukrainian students will be interested in taking part in different Interclub events.
Students, the citizens of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, have expressed their wish to perform the presentation of their countries, because on the 16th of December is the Day of Independence in Kazakhstan, and on the 12th – the Day of Neutrality in Turkmenistan. The presentation of national cuisine of different world countries is planned for the 21st of December.
