Mrs. Eloise Marmouze-de la Tai visited our university to expand the regular dialogue between Kyiv Polytechnic and French universities to activate the international mobility of students and researchers from both countries.
The French government plans to expand its partnership with Kyiv Polytechnic in many areas, such as:
📌 increasing the number of double degree programs;
📌 creation of new joint projects for the ERASMUS+ program;
📌 research on the application of artificial intelligence in mechanical engineering, engineering, robotics, chemical technology, rehabilitation and additive technologies.
“The Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine fully supports Ukraine and higher education institutions. We are ready to discuss further steps to build strong cooperation and find new opportunities to support your country and, in particular, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. After all, despite the unfavorable external circumstances, Kyiv Polytechnic continues to provide quality education and train highly qualified specialists,” said Eloise Marmouze-de la Tai, University and Scientific Attaché of the Embassy of the French Republic in Ukraine.
The multidisciplinary cooperation between Kyiv Polytechnic and the French Republic has been going on since 1998. Our university also has a Ukrainian-French Center, which works to deepen international relations with the country and teaches French to our students.
“Thanks to our partnership with three universities in France, we have a double degree program. Engineering specialties are attractive to our students because of the opportunity to study abroad and the prospects of obtaining a double degree,” says Olha Ohurtsova, coordinator of Ukrainian-French projects at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The next step in cooperation is to exchange proposals for research areas that will be a priority for French students and scientists, as well as to prepare a visit to Kyiv Polytechnic by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Ukraine in December 2024.
