On December 25, the mysteries and magic of the Christmas and New Year holidays begin. And they are ushered in by the Christian world’s second-largest holiday after Easter—Christmas. Traditionally, it is celebrated not only by believers of various denominations but also by those who are indifferent to religion.
Every year on Christmas Eve, Plast scouts bring light from Bethlehem to the capital as a symbol of peace, hope, and unity. The fire is lit in Bethlehem, then it goes to Poland, then to Lviv, Kyiv — and finally reaches our university.

At the end of September, the Denysenko Scientific and Technical Library held a traditional celebration of the All-Ukrainian Library Day. Before the opening of the celebration, its participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibition ‘Creative’.
The Day of the National Flag of Ukraine was solemnly celebrated in Kyiv Polytechnic. Polytechnics gathered at the KPI Knowledge Square to honor the historical memory of our flag and remember all those who died for it.
The Lilia Rebryk Charitable Foundation together with the Student Parliament of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute organized and held a New Year's celebration for children who were forced to leave their homes because of the war at the Student Consolidation Center.
