About Igor Sikorsky KPI dormitories

Corridor dormitories of Igor Sikorsky KPI

In corridor dormitories, the kitchen, toilet, shower, and washbasins are shared facilities. Usually, there are two shower rooms for the entire dormitory; on each floor, there are two kitchens, toilets, and washbasins. The doors from the rooms lead directly to the corridor.

Hallway dormitories include dormitories 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, and 14, as well as the first floor of dormitory 11.

Block dormitories at KPI

In block dormitories, rooms are grouped into blocks. The rooms in the block have a shared corridor and common areas (kitchen, shower, dressing room).

In dormitories 18, 19, and 20, there are two rooms in each block. Each room has a separate toilet and bathroom. Two rooms per floor are located outside the block. These are guest rooms, i.e., they are used to accommodate either outsiders or guests of residents. In dormitories where the block is designed for two rooms, students are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order.
In dormitories 5, 11, and 15, there are four rooms per block, and in dormitory 16, there are eight rooms with separate showers, toilets, and kitchens.

Blocks 17, 21, and 22 are family-type dormitories.
