Conference of the Founders of KPI Graduates Association
On August, 28 a conference of the founders of KPI Graduates Association was held at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. It began with the commemoration of Anatoliy Ivanovych Povzyk, who headed the association for more than 10 years and died in June 2018.

Volodymyr Ivanovych Semendiy, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, is undoubtedly one of the most famous graduates of Kyiv Polytechnic. He is an honoured machine builder of Russia, an honoured member of Kamaz, an honorary citizen of Naberezhnye Chelny.

On April 24, 2017, on the 86th year of life, Sergiy Pavlovych Fishenko, the director of one of the best Donbass mines, “Krasnolimanska”, deputy head of the heavy industry department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR, the leading specialist of the production association “Burvuglecomplex”, the laureate of the State the prize of the USSR passed away.
