On April, 16-19 2013 the "KPI" hosted the XXXIII International Scientific Conference "Electronics and Nanotechnology " - "ELNANO- 2013". The main organizer of the conference was "KPI" (Department of Physical and Biomedical Electronics , Department of Micro -and Nanoelectronics, Department of Industrial Electronics) and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) - a worldwide organization that has been existing more than a century and brings together more than 400 thousand scientists from more than 160 countries worldwide.
The founder of the conference was the world famous scientist in the theory of electronic circuits Professor VP Sihorskyy. Among the organizers of the conference there were the National Aviation University and the Institute of Semiconductor Physics after Loshkarov V. E., the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The software and the Organizing Committee included such famous scientists as NAS of Ukraine Professor Y.I.Yakymenko and Professor A.H. Bilous ,E. I. Sokol - thr Cor. of Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Klaus -Jürgen Walter , S. E. Lyashevskyy, Y. Shmaliy, V.Y.Zhuykov, Y.M.Poplavko, V.I.Tymofyeyev, F.Y. Yanovsky and others.
Overall the conference was attended by more than 350 scientists, including 70 doctors, 110 candidates, 170 aspirants and students. Participants presented 118 papers on materials which have been published Proceedings of the conference in English. Review articles were organized through a special software environment EASYCHAIR, allowing reviewers to attract more than 50 countries such as the UK, Turkey, Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Holland, Russia, Macedonia, Estonia, South Africa and others. Each submitted work is held closed by an independent review by three experts who gave an opinion on the appropriateness of its publication. Only those works whose authors did report were published - it was a requirement of the program committee and allowed to collect KPI scholars from around the world .
Besides the participants from different cities of Ukraine ( Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Alchevs'k, Odessa, Donetsk), the conference was attended by representatives of 15 countries - Russia, Armenia, Germany, England, Brazil, China, Canada, Mexico, France, Montenegro, Israel, Iran, India, Kazakhstan , USA.
The reports were presented on "KPI", National Aviation University, NMUTS UNESCO National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv National University. Shevchenko Institute, National Cancer Institute, National University "Lviv Polytechnic", State Engineering University of Armenia, Technical University of Dresden and other universities .
The great attention should be payed to the collection of the conference papers submitted to the database IEEE XPLORE DIGITAL LIBRARY, which is indexed in international scientific databases metric SCOPUSE, GOOGLE SCHOOLAR and others.
The conference got a strong support from IEEE Sponsors: IEEE Ukraine Section, IEEE Central Ukraine Joint Chapter, IEEE KPI Student Branch.
The active participants were the representatives of the general sponsor of the development of medical technology, information and algorithmic support in X-ray diagnostics SPA "Teleoptyk"; media sponsor made scientific journal "Electronics and Communication" and " High society Proceedings of the wound . Radioelectronics ".
The conference plenary sessions were held and operated four sections: the first section was devoted to electronic components and devices, micro-and nanotechnology, the second - electronic technology and signal processing in biomedicine, the third - power electronics and "Smart" technology , the fourth - electronic systems. Session was presented posters with the active participation of students and graduate students "KPI" .
The conference was held seminars and heard reports on modern nanotechnology, the design of components of electronic circuits on the latest developments of information and logistics systems for processing signals and images prospects of biomedical devices and systems using nanotechnology. Held to discuss the possibilities of international cooperation and attract students to scientific developments in the field of nanotechnology. With a broad representation of participants from different countries , the conference agreement was reached on joint participation in international programs and projects for academic exchanges and the creation of consortia to fund collaborative research .
Program Committee is grateful for the dedicated organizing conferences Pichkalovu Eugene , Helen Semenov , Poreviy Anna , Anna Kiseleva , Michael Ram , Anton Popov , Tatiana Obukhov, Mikhail Zhukov , Tatiana Khyzhnyak , Vyacheslav Petrenko, Catherine Ivanko , Natalia Matveeva and other members of the organizing committee .
