Why do KPI students support blood donation? How many patients does one donor save? And how does donation affect the donor?
The Student Social Service of Kyiv Polytechnic held a Donor Day. Dozens of students expressed a desire to help and saved more than a hundred lives in one day!
The KPI Social Service together with the Mobile Brigade of the URCS organized a donor day at KPI. This donation will replenish the blood bank of the Kyiv City Blood Center and help save the lives of both wounded soldiers and civilian patients.
Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, together with the Kyiv City Blood Centre, organized another blood donation.
The polytechnicians responded to the call instantly: a total of 40 donations were made. Both students and administration employees donated blood.

Donor Day has become traditional for Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as this year the event was held for the 12th time already. On this day, students voluntarily donate blood to those who need it.
