The Department of Accounting and Reporting (DAR) is a structural unit of the University, reporting to the University Rector, with activities coordinated by the Vice Rector for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
In its activities, the Department is guided by the Constitution of Ukraine, laws, and other regulatory acts of Ukraine, as well as the regulatory framework of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
MAIN TASKS OF THE UBOZ
Maintaining accounting records of the financial and economic activities of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and preparing financial statements.
Recording in documents accurate and complete information on economic transactions and operational results necessary for the effective management of budget allocations (appropriations), financial, and tangible (intangible) resources.
Ensuring compliance with budget legislation when assuming budget commitments, timely submission of such commitments for registration, making payments in accordance with assumed budget commitments, and accurately and fully reflecting transactions in accounting records and reports.
Ensuring control over the availability and movement of property, and the use of financial, tangible (intangible) resources in accordance with approved standards and estimates.
Preventing the occurrence of negative phenomena in financial and economic activities, identifying and mobilizing internal reserves in accordance with the activities of the UBOZ.
Providing methodological guidance and oversight regarding compliance with legislation on accounting, as well as the preparation of financial, budgetary, tax, and statistical reports for Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Analyzing and consolidating reports from the structural units of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Development of internal regulatory documents in accordance with current legislation regarding matters within the competence of the UBOZ.
Annual and quarterly analysis of the financial and economic activities of Igor Sikorsky KPI.
The organizational structure of the UBOZ includes:
- Reporting Department;
- Cash and Settlement Operations Department;
- the Department of Own Revenue Accounting;
- the Department of Payroll and Scholarship Calculations;
- the Department of Inventory Accounting;
- the Department of Revenue Accounting;
- the Department of Accounting and Reporting for the Research Division;
- the Financial and Economic Department of the Student Campus;
- the financial and economic department of the student dining center;
- the financial and economic department of the Student Executive Committee.
The UBOZ is headed by the chief accountant. The chief accountant reports to the rector of Igor Sikorsky KPI and acts in accordance with the regulations and job description that define his or her authority.
