Our university continues to work on the restoration of our defenders together with the Charitable Foundation “Center for Complex Endoprosthetics, Osteointegration and Bionics” and the Public Union “Center for Interdisciplinary Basic and Applied Human Research”.

Recently, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, under which

- deal with rehabilitation, arthroplasty and mental health;
- provide professional psychosocial support to victims with severe conditions (phantom pains, contusions, PTSD, speech disorders), returning them to a full life.

“Today, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute is a scientific, methodological, and educational hub, and if we combine its capabilities with the efforts of a creative team of psychologists and rehabilitation specialists, we will have a significant result. After all, victory is not just about the way our defenders won on the battlefield, victory is also about the resources and strength of citizens who depend on their psycho-emotional, physical and mental recovery,” Vasyl Krutov, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Interdisciplinary Basic and Applied Human Research.

Within the framework of the cooperation, it is planned to:

📌 Experimental work with the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering (FBME) and the Faculty of Sociology and Law (FSP) to overcome the most common psycho-emotional traumas;
📌 experimental and scientific work with the Educational and Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Institute of MMI);
📌 development of new methodological approaches and practical recommendations in accordance with international standards.

The cooperation is coordinated by the Center for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
