On Science Day in Ukraine 2025, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented state awards at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for significant personal contributions to the development of domestic science, strengthening the scientific and technical potential of Ukraine in conditions of martial law, many years of conscientious work, and high professionalism.
Among the scientists who were honored this year are three Kyiv Polytechnic Institute graduates:
Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine
📌 Lukyanchikov Yevgen Dmytrovych — Doctor of Law, Professor of the Department of Information, Economic, and Administrative Law, Faculty of Sociology and Law (FSP)
Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine
📌 Ivan Korobko — Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Aerospace Technologies (Institute of IAT);
📌 Krush Petro Vasylovych — Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management and Marketing (FMM) until 2024.
The state award was also given to Artem Artemovich Khalatov, long-time head of the Department of Physics of Energy Systems at the Institute of FTI and head of the Department of the Institute of Technical Thermophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The meeting also featured a presentation of the research results of specialists from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
