🔋 Kyiv Polytechnic and DTEK Renewables will train specialists in the field of “green” energy - specialists who are now extremely necessary for the development of our country's economy!

The relevant memorandum of cooperation was signed by the rector of KPI Anatoliy Melnychenko and the CEO of DTEK Renewables Oleksandr Selishchev.

“We have signed a memorandum of cooperation with DTEK Renewables. For our university, cooperation with DTEK Group is very important, because the concept of KPI envisages the construction of a “green” university - an educational institution that produces qualified specialists in the field of renewable energy sources,” commented Anatoliy Melnychenko.

Now, a solar and wind energy laboratory will be set up at the Educational and Research Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management of Kyiv Polytechnic with the support of DTEK Renewables. This will strengthen the technical base of the university, improve the level and quality of training of future specialists for the energy sector of Ukraine.

This year, DTEK Renewables will donate the first batch of equipment to KPI to equip the educational and research laboratory: batteries, solar panels, a test bench, and a weather station.

“Ukraine needs to restore its energy potential after large-scale Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure. And this should be started now. That is why we will help Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with the technical base so that teachers and young scientists can conduct more relevant research and laboratory work, gain useful experience and implement innovative solutions in the field of green energy in Ukraine,” said Oleksandr Selishchev.
