Associate Professor of the Department of Welding Production, Candidate of Technical Sciences of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing of KPI Yevheniia Chvertko became the first woman in Ukraine and Eastern Europe to be awarded the distinction of the International Institute of Welding, an organization that shapes global trends in welding science and technology.
Yevheniia Petrivna's own experience shows that the welding profession has no gender restrictions.
Women are also skilled in working with metal and can change standards in the industry. As part of her work on the Board of Directors of the International Welding Institute, Ms. Yevheniia has implemented a number of projects that are extremely important for Ukraine. In particular, the revocation of Russia's membership in the International Welding Institute. Ms. Chvertko is a newly elected member of the International Authorization Board, where she trains, certifies, and certifies welding professionals.
Currently, Yevheniia Chvertko is implementing world standards for the training of welding specialists at the Institute of Welding, training international welding engineers. These skilled workers are able to manage projects of any complexity. She also teaches at the Department of Welding Production, where students can obtain a European Engineer Diploma without interrupting their studies.
