Dear KPI ladies! We congratulate you on the International Day for Women's Rights and International Peace. On this day in 1857, women workers in factories and enterprises in New York City stood up for their rights for the first time. They stood up for the right to vote, against harsh working conditions and the use of their underage children's labor.
These women paved the way for better treatment at all levels in most countries of the world. Thanks to them, modern women can live a full life and fully develop their talents.
International Women's Day is a call for gender equality in a world free of prejudice, stereotypes and discrimination.
This is the world we all strive for today and which we are winning with the blood of our best soldiers from barbarians trying to destroy human freedom, equality, and democracy.
Today's Ukrainian women have faced a difficult test: defending their country, their children, their families, and achieving peace. And they still face other challenges: the wage gap between men and women, unequal distribution of household and childcare responsibilities, sexism and gender bias.
We pay great tribute to our women who, despite these injustices and the trials of war, are constantly changing their country and the world for the better. Ukrainian women defend their homeland with arms, acquire knowledge and academic degrees, represent our country on the world scientific stage, invent, create, achieve, volunteer and donate. They are building a new world.
We respect your work and your desire to make the world a peaceful, kind and just place. We wish you health, happiness and inspiration for a decent human life on this difficult path! Good luck, dear women!
