Kyiv Polytechnic celebrated its 125th anniversary with significant achievements. The Faculty of Management and Marketing also has something to report. Moreover, in 2022, a difficult year for the country - a year of challenges and trials - the FMM turned 30. After all, the decision of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute to establish the Faculty of Management and Marketing (FMM) on the basis of the university-wide Department of Economics and Production Organization and the Department of Political Economy was made on March 31, 1992.
The FMM celebrated its anniversary with hard work: helping those who suffered from the military aggression of the Russian Federation, building a system to ensure the stability and endurance of the team in the face of war, and impeccable crisis management by the faculty administration.
Today, the faculty continues to work actively. Thus, in 2022, at the initiative of the Dean of the FMM, Doctor of Economics, Professor M. Kravchenko, the School of Postgraduate Research Supervisors was first established, where experienced scientists share methods of effective scientific supervision, conduct scientific and methodological seminars, including international ones, to exchange experience between universities from different countries. The cooperation with the Department of Innovation and Technology Transfer was deepened to join efforts to develop the DIH KPI Digital Innovation Hub (Center 4.0). In 2023, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute joined an international consortium and received funding to implement an important project to restore the Danube basin (Horizon Europe program), and the FMM became the leading faculty entrusted with the project. The faculty team will continue to work hard to contribute to improving Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute's position in world rankings.
The faculty holds a number of annual scientific events. Among them are the scientific and practical conference "Business, Innovation, Management: Problems and Prospects", the International Scientific and Practical Conference "B2B Marketing", the All-Ukrainian Student Case Competition in Marketing "Rising Industrial Marketing Stars", the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Entrepreneurship Development as a Factor of National Economy Growth", the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "Modeling and Forecasting of Economic Processes", the International Scientific and Practical Conference "International Scientific and Technical Cooperation: Principles, Methods and Challenges". Round tables on unique topics are held annually: "Development of international business models in the era of digitalization"; "Global capital market: integration problems, risks and benefits", etc. The scientific events address the problems of formation and efficiency of national innovation systems and Industry 4.0, peculiarities of international business management in the context of globalization, problems of entrepreneurship development in Ukraine and abroad, etc.

Teachers of the faculty are winners of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute competitions in the nominations "Teacher-Researcher", "Young Teacher-Researcher", "Leader in Student Research Achievements", All-Ukrainian F. Kotler Competition for Young Teachers. Kotler for Young Teachers, the All-Ukrainian Competition of Methodological Support for Marketing (CEUME), the JFDP (Junior Faculty Development Program) of the Department of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State, the All-Ukrainian Competition of Methodological Support for Business Disciplines of the International Consortium for the Improvement of Business Education in Ukraine (CEUME) and the Center for Innovation and Development, and many others, are active participants in public associations of management.
In 2023, the FMM won two victories in the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute competition in the nomination "Young Teacher-Researcher - 2022".Young teachers Anna Kukharuk, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economics, Deputy Dean for Research, and Anna Pohrebniak, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship, received the honorary title.
The faculty is particularly proud of the achievements of its students. In recent years, students of the FMM have won 96 competitions (in particular, the International Olympiad within the framework of the Global Project "Youth Creative Movement "Quality Relay", All-Ukrainian Olympiads in the disciplines "Regional Economics", "Business Economics", etc,) 19 international and 139 all-Ukrainian competitions of scientific works (including All-Ukrainian competitions of qualification and scientific works in economic specialties, All-Ukrainian competition LoNG-2019, II round of the All-Ukrainian student competition of business projects "Business Springboard"), about 55 people received personalized scholarships - the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the rector of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The scientific achievements of students under the guidance of research teachers, professors M.O. Kravchenko, A.R. Dunska, Zh.M. Zhyhalkevych, S.V. Voitko were used in the preparation of the National Report "Sustainable Development Goals of Ukraine", which was published on the UN website.
The cohesion and perseverance of the faculty and students of the FMM contribute to the development of the faculty even in the conditions of military realities, and everyone makes every effort to bring the country closer to Victory.
