The representative team of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute "Polytechnic" headed the list in the Kyiv Futsal Championship (League 2).
27 teams took part in the tournament, which were divided into subgroups. The championship started back in October 2021, but due to the beginning of the full-scale russian military invasion of Ukraine, it was interrupted. The players had to forget about their football roles for a while and plunge into urgent matters dictated by war realities. Some helped volunteers, some took part in charity events and tournaments to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, others saved their relatives and friends. However, it was precisely such difficult circumstances that helped our boys to rally and show a great game in the final.
In September, the games of the Kyiv Futsal Championship resumed.
