Today, the development and integration of information systems and technologies in all spheres of life are very fast. Therefore, there is a constant demand for specialists in this profile, so ambitious and motivated young people enter universities. Among them is a third-year student of the FICE Khrystyna Ambroziak, a scholarship holder of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute attracted me with its diversity, and the chance to be among those people who are experts in various fields of science,” says the student. “I knew that the university would not only give me a chance to acquire professional knowledge, conduct research, but I will also find good friends and wonderful mentors. That is why I chose Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute among all universities of Ukraine.”
Khrystyna already had some achievements when she entered Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. As a student of the Brzezany branch of the Junior Academy of Sciences, she received three patents for the utility model “Transforming structure for frame construction” and demonstrated on existing models how to build houses from frameworks, equip recreation areas, create animal enclosures, and more. And if necessary, the skeletal structure is assembled and transported to a new location. Khrystyna’s father helped her develop a model of a frame house (and later a gazebo). Her physics teacher Viktor Dvorskyi, who also heads the technical sciences and physics and astronomy departments of the Brzezany branch of the Junior Academy of Sciences, inspired her. Khrystyna won a gold medal and the Audience Sympathy Award at the International Competition for Innovative Inventions in Canada “iCAN 2020”.
“I have always enjoyed the opportunity to learn about something and get new information. Studying at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, I try to get as much knowledge as possible, which helps me in tests and exams. That is why each semester, I manage to get the top ten students of my specialty,” says the girl.
The student likes to study because she thinks that future specialty combines different areas of the information world of technology. “To be honest,” she says, “I didn’t get in IT before, so it was exciting to make a challenge to myself and master something previously unknown. I don't regret it at all.” Besides compulsory subjects, Khrystyna is keen on popular scientific publications to “develop and continue her work in science”.
However, Khrystyna finds free time for leisure: she is fond of music, drawing and sometimes writes poetry. He also loves active recreation activities like swimming, cycling, and hiking. She eagerly uses the opportunities provided by the University for the comprehensive development of personality to become a harmonious and highly educated modern person: “I want to be a fully realized person.”
The student concludes her story sincerely and emotionally, “I am infinitely grateful to my parents. They always supported me, cared about my future, and helped me understand what is essential. I can not help but mention the teachers who showed me the path to knowledge and science. In some way, they helped me understand that the best place to get a profession and scientific activity is Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. I also want to show appreciation to the University teachers who inspired me to achieve more with their example and competency and help me become a professional in their field. "
Needless to say, a modern state cannot develop without modern science, while modern science cannot exist and develop without young and talented researchers. Once you meet such engaged students with a thirst for knowledge and creativity, you realize that the future of our country and research institutes has a chance.
