The Department of Management of the Faculty of Management and Marketing of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Business, Innovation, Management: Problems and Perspectives”. At the conference, scientists and representatives of the economy sector discussed the most up-to-date business and management problems and prospects for their solution.
The conference was held on April 22, 2021, in a remote format through the Zoom platform. 173 scientists from higher education institutions and research institutions of the largest cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Chernivtsi, Izmail, etc., and scientists from Poland, Latvia, Turkey, Kyrgyz Republic, and China got engaged in the conference.
At the conference opening, well-known domestic and foreign scientists and practitioners in economics presented their reports. They are, for instance, Head of the Department of Management of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” Professor Viktoriia Dergachova, Professor of Logistics Department of the National Aviation University Svitlana Smerichevska, Professor of the Department of International Management of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman Liubov Galperina, Head of the Department of Management and Information Technologies of the Kyiv Institute of Intellectual Property and Law of the National University “Odesa Law Academy” Vitalii Tupkalo, Professor of Częstochowa University of Technology Malhozhata Okrenhlytska, Professor of Poznań University of Technology Yevhen Revtiuk, Head of the Prospective Development Department of “PrAT” (PJSC) “Novokramatorsky Mashynobudivny Zavod” Yevhen Korzhov.
As a result of the online meeting, the collection of abstracts has been compiled to give applied research on the problems and prospects of the conference issues. The materials cover the following thematic areas:
- “Trends in domestic business and management” gives information on digitalization of business processes in a pandemic; the concept of the competitive image of the enterprise; the paradigm of crisis management of organizational systems in the conditions of Industry 4.0; social responsibility and sustainable development;
- “Management of international business in the conditions of globalization” includes influence of pandemic on the export activity of enterprises; intellectual property management of startup projects; circular economy; development of the world market of educational technologies; cross-border cooperation on the way to EU integration;
- “Innovation and entrepreneurship as a basis for economic growth of the country” covers clustering, innovative entrepreneurship, financing of innovations during the pandemic, the introduction of lean production, innovation forms of partnership, risk management in e-commerce;
- “Supply chain management in enterprise development strategy” delivers reports on modern realities of logistics development; information interaction of participants of the logistic process; environmentally friendly transportations; optimization of warehousing activity; principles of integrated logistics.
