Honorary Awards from the Federation of Engineering Associations of Poland to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute
The Main Department of the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations has awarded its Honorary Gold Badges to the staff of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”: Vitalii Pasichnyk - Vice-Rector for Research and Alla Kovtun, Head of the Organizing Office of International Activities.
The congratulatory letter of the Section of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students in Poland said, "With gratitude for the contribution to strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish scientists and engineers. We wish further success in science and education at the best Ukrainian university - Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.”
Mrs. Dorota Jaworska, Editor-in-Chief of the Polish-language Kyiv newspaper “Krynica”, and Professor Yevhenii Turek, a graduate of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and a member of the Section of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students in Poland, took the honorary mission and presented the awards. Serhii Sydorenko, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Yevhen Polishchuk Deputy Director of the Department for International Relations, Hanna Bidniuk, Deputy Director of the Ukrainian-Polish Center, and others greeted the guests.
“When you are at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, you feel involved in something significant. You can feel the academic spirit of famous scientists here,” Mrs. Dorota shared her impressions. The time at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, when I studied here, gave me not only professional knowledge but also the ability to effectively manage my work. It was a great time.”

Among them, cooperation with the Section of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students in Poland is essential”, said Serhii Sydorenko, Vice-Rector for International Relations. “We highly appreciate the efforts of the Section of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute students in Poland in strengthening the cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish scientists and educators. Moreover, we preserve and develop our traditions”.

The Federation of Engineering Associations of Poland (Federacja Stowarzyszen Naukowo-Technicznych) is the largest Polish association representing professional engineers and technicians with 110,000 members and 49 regional branches all through the country. The organization aims to strengthen the role of the technical community by conducting training courses, training of engineers under EU requirements, supporting innovation in the Polish economy, holding technical competitions and contests aimed at enhancing the prestige of the engineering profession.
