Every year, Ukrainian universities are evaluated in rankings that determine the best by a total of certain data. Traditionally, the scale is formed based on the results of "Top-200 Ukraine", Scopus and "EIT score for a contract". Each of these ratings uses different evaluation criteria.
The Centre for International Projects "Euroeducation" is working on the "Top-200 Ukraine". Data of direct measurements which are available on open web resources of independent national and international organizations and establishments are taken into account.
The Scopus rating uses the metrics of the database of the same name. Thanks to this tool, citations of scientific articles published in scientific journals by educational institutions or teachers are monitored.
“EIT score for a contract” operates on the number of graduates who have decided to study at a university at their own expense.
Therefore, the Consolidated Rating - 2020 identified three leaders among 241 higher education institutions in Ukraine. These are Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and National University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy"
