The university budget for 2020, approved in the amount of UAH 1809.7 million, was executed by 98.1%, with the general fund revenue plan executed by 100.0% and the special fund revenue plan by 91.2% due to the introduction of a number of quarantine measures on March 18.
Compared to 2019, the budget increased by 5.5%, including the program "Staff training" - by 4.9%, and the program "Implementation of R & D" - by 20.0%.
During 2020, there were no delays in the receipt of funds from the general fund, timely and full payments were made under contracts for the purchase of goods, materials, services and works, wages and all other social benefits provided by current legislation on wages and the Collective Agreement.
The salary fund of all employees of the university compared to the previous year increased by 11.5% and amounted to UAH 1,146.9 million.
The size of the minimum wage increased by 13.2%.
According to the Collective Agreement, in addition to salaries, mandatory and incentive allowances and surcharges, university employees were paid:
- monthly and quarterly bonuses and bonuses for anniversaries - in the amount of UAH 20,946.4 thousand;
- annual financial assistance to teachers - in the amount of UAH 1276.2 thousand;
- financial assistance on applications - in the amount of UAH 368.1 thousand;
- assistance to employees for rehabilitation - in the amount of UAH 43554.7 thousand;
- salaries saved for mobilized employees - in the amount of UAH 899.6 thousand;
- allowances to salaries of teachers-researchers - in the amount of UAH 833.5 thousand.
The average monthly salary for 2020 is UAH 12,796.2, or 12.7% more than the corresponding figure for 2019.
In addition, in accordance with the Collective Agreement and the Law of Ukraine "On Trade Unions, their rights and guarantees of activity" during the year, on the basis of applications from the trade union, the administration transferred 350.0 thousand UAH for cultural, physical culture and health work among university employees.
All types of social benefits for students, graduate students and doctoral students were made in accordance with current legislation within the approved appropriations.
The average annual number of scholarship students was 42.8% of the total number of budget students. The annual scholarship fund for 2020 in the amount of UAH 143823.8 thousand was used by 100.0%.
Scholarships in the amount of UAH 475.5 thousand were additionally paid to students at the expense of other sources and funds.
According to the decision of the Academic Council of the University, funds for financing student self-government bodies were allocated in the amount of 0.5% of revenues from the main activity, namely UAH 800.0 thousand.
Actual costs for utilities in 2020 amounted to 90846.0 thousand UAH for general and special funds.
In order to further reduce energy consumption for energy saving measures in buildings and dormitories in 2020, funds from the special fund in the amount of 17030.7 thousand UAH were used, which exceeds the corresponding expenditures in 2019 by 86.0%.
Expenditures of own funds for the purchase of long-term equipment in 2020 amounted to UAH 33545.9 thousand, which is UAH 12170.6 thousand less than last year as a result of non-compliance with the plan of revenues to the special fund.
During the year, repair and restoration works at the university facilities were performed for UAH 6,0005.5 thousand, or 63.9% more than in the previous year.
By the decision of the Academic Council of the University of April 5, 2021 the budget of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for 2020 on all major indicators is considered fully executed.
